Pointer

Click a line or node to select it; drag nodes and bends; drag the slide tab to move a line; drag empty canvas to pan.

Polyline

Click to add points; Enter or double-click to finish.

Offset line

Click a line, type the distance, Enter.

Measure

Click two points.

Truncate

Click a corner, type the size.

Undo /Clear

Undo steps back one change; Clear removes every line.

Handles (Pointer)

Filled circle

A node of a line: drag to move it; click to select it, then the x beside it, Delete or Backspace removes it.

Small hollow circle

The middle of a segment: drag it to add a bend there.

Square beside a line

The slide tab: drag it to move the whole line sideways, parallel to itself.

Alt while dragging

Turns off snapping to corners, crossings and square or parallel angles.

Aerial

House

Click a suggested outline or a house to pick it, or click open ground to draw a house; Confirm the house in 1 Site makes the picked outline a house; the bin removes the picked one. A lot can have more than one house.

Street edge

Click to place or pick the street edge; the bin removes the picked one.

Street tree

Click to place or pick a street tree; the bin removes the picked one.

Square on an outline or house

A corner (House): drag to move it, with no snapping; right-click it, or select it and press Delete, to remove it.

+ on an outline or house edge

Click to add a corner there (House).

Drawing a house

Sides snap to 45 and 90 degrees from the first side; hold Alt to draw free.

View

• Mouse wheel zooms at the cursor.
• Middle- or right-drag pans; with Pointer, so does dragging empty canvas.
• Fit or 0 returns to the whole site; + and - zoom in and out.
• Dimensions labels every boundary segment (screen only, not on the PDF).

Keys

Esc

Cancel the tool; with Pointer, clear the selection or the pick.

Enter

Finish or commit.

Right-click

Cancel.
